V.A.Subramanian, son of Venkatachalam Iyer joined the business in the year 1949. Bequeathed with all the basic qualities of a good leader, he was known for his effective communication and decision-making. With his concerted efforts he established a very strong reputation for the company. At present Subramany & Co Exports Pvt Ltd. is managed by Saroja Subramanian (wife of V.A. Subramanian) and V.Krishna Shankar (grandson of A.Venkatachalam Iyer and nephew of V.A. Subramanian).

Subramany & Co. Exports Private Limited is an 100% Export Oriented Unit manufacturing Palmyra fibre and stalks. Palmyra is a natural vegetable fibre that is 100% biodegradable. Palmyra is derived from the base of the fan like leaf of the Palm tree.
